Tess with Off Leash K9 Training is the BEST. Every lesson leading to our dog’s two week board and train was very informative and easy to follow, which made the turnover at the end very easy and smooth. From start to finish, she broke down every step of the training process to where it was completely stress free and understandable. We always left each lesson feeling more informed and knowledgeable about each new command and how to better communicate with our dog. We knew our dog would be in great hands with her. We couldn’t be happier with our overall training experience.

Ashley with off leash K9 trained my 5 month old Belgian Akita mix Mochi. She did an amazing job during Mochis 2 week board and train. She was very thorough with the hand over when Mochi came home and I was able to apply all that was learned easily into our day to day life. She has always been available for us with any questions. I give our experience an out of ten rating. I highly recommend Ashley if you’re looking for a dog trainer. Mochi came back a different dog in the best way possible.

Had a great experience working with Tess. My dog loved her throughout the entire experience and she provided me with the tools and knowledge to continue to successfully train him. I walked away from every session with confidence in the tools she had given us and clarity on the “homework” we were assigned. My dog had very poor leash manners and reactivity issues. His leash manners are now fantastic and she taught us how to manage his reactivity and work through it. His reactivity is still a work in progress but continues to get better everyday. I reached out to Off leash K9 training because I was feeling really desperate with our dog Duchess. I am a veteran 100% disabled with combat related PTSD. Our dog Duchess and I ended up in a very vicious circle where she was so aggressive with other dogs I couldn’t walk her, because of my anxiety. So she didn’t get out of the house which made her anxiety go up.

I did the two week board and train with Ashley, who was more than amazing with our dog, as Duchess needed medication’s and had to make several trips to the veterinarian while in training; Ashley didn’t hesitate and took care of it with her vet as my vet didn’t diagnose the issue prior to training.

Duchess has come back a very focused dog in paying attention to what we are trying to communicate to her. I took her on a 3 mile walk and did not have a single issue when encountering other dogs, her obedience was obvious, and the walk itself was completely without anxiety or stress.

I highly recommend off leash K9 training to everyone who wants an obedient dog, that you can love, and enjoy.

I enrolled in K-9 training because my dog was showing signs of aggression toward strangers and sometimes other dogs. Tess went over basic commands the first few lessons using the e-collar and we gradually went out in the community into situations that could trigger my dog. She taught me how to be proactive in anticipating his behavior and how to talk him through situations and give positive reinforcement and rewards. Overall the training was positive for me and my dog.

My 8 month old heeler/lab mix left me for 2 weeks to go train with Tess/K9 off leash and came back a new dog! Her ability to control her impulses now is leagues better and she has all of her basic obedience commands down pat! The communication throughout her training was wonderful! I got messages or videos every day and was in awe of the rapid progress she was making each day. I was also really happy to see how much my dog liked Tess and wanted to work hard for her. I could easily see that Tess had taken the time to bond with my dog and the results are amazing! I feel like I have a much greater ability to control my dog because she actually listens to me now and waits for me to tell her what’s next. I highly recommend this training for all dogs/dog owners and if you have the chance to work with Tess she is amazing. Her love for dogs is evident in every interaction.

Our dog Luna did the 2-week board/train with Tess. Luna is a mix of GSP and Treeing Walker, and is very small prey driven. She has been a challenge to train on our own and we were referred to Off Leash K9 from a friend. From the instant we met Tess at the park for the handoff of Luna, we knew that Luna was in good hands. During the 2 weeks of training, Tess would send us daily training progress reports, pictures, and videos of Luna. It was fun to watch the progress that Luna was making and we could see that she was happily wagging her tail throughout the training sessions. When we met Tess to pick up Luna, Tess spent about 2 hours training US on how to continue with what Luna had learned and also warned us that Luna would test us (which she did). We are so pleased with the progress Luna made with Tess - we are now comfortable with her off leash at the beach/park, she greets guests politely, gives hugs when invited to do so and sits/stays on command. The training has made Luna safer in our care. Highly recommend Off Leash K9 - specifically Tess!
