Avoid this provider at all costs. I have had the worst experience with their doctors and billing. You will regret becoming a patient here and you can get much better care and have a much better experience elsewhere. The comments about Adeel Rabbani being rude and terrible are accurate. I've never met a worse doctor. As soon as I started seeing a new doctor, I got better. My condition was literally being made worse because he was forcing me to stay on a medication that I felt was wrong and refused to admit his diagnosis was wrong. His incorrect diagnosis was confirmed by my new doctor and they also verified the medicine he had me on was something they wouldn't have recommended. When I tried to bring this up to "Dr." Rabbani he got angry, defensive, and offended that I was questioning my own treatment which is never something a patient should have to experience when asking about their care plan. Trust me when I warn you to avoid this place, it's the worst.

My experience with Dr. Rabbani was extremely disappointing and bordered on insulting. I contacted his practice after losing my previous Psychiatrist of 2 years, whom I adored, to teaching and was placed with another doctor at the same clinic. I was very unhappy with this doctor and went searching for a new one. I spoke with the receptionist for Dr. Rabbani and asked if they did telehealth and was able to prescribe controlled substances as I was currently on Clonazapam. She assured me they did, I filled out forms with my home address and medications, and was charged a $50 copay and the next day I had my telehealth appointment with Dr. Rabbani. Within 3 minutes Dr. Rabbani told me that he would not be my doctor because he was located an hour and a half away, even tho it was telehealth. He also told me that not he or any other doctor would write me a prescription for Clonazapam thru telehealth. He asked why I contacted his office and I told him I was unhappy with my current physician. He spoke to me with words as tho he doubted what I was telling him and advised me to go back to my current Psychiatrist. He was condescending and spoke to me in a manner as if i was doing something dishonest, but truthfully, I feel, his receptionist should have told me he wouldn't accept patients over a certain distance, also, his receptionist should have been been upfront about not prescribing controlled substances thru telehealth and, lastly, maybe Dr. Rabbani should be a little less hasty to jump to conclusions or pass judgement and actually try to listen with a bit more compassion. He left me feeling hopeless and helpless and in his own words, "there's not many options in my area." Dr. Rabbani was cold, uncaring and completely dismissive, and to add insult to injury it cost me a $50 copay for him to refer me back to my current doctor that I am very unhappy with, so thanks Dr. Rabbani! Thanks for your blatant lack of care and concern and I hope one day, for whatever the reason, you need a physician, and that physician treats you like a real patient, a human being, and is a better and more compassionate physician than you were to me! Anyone seeking and needing true help, please be careful.
EDIT* After reading your unbelievable response, I am impressed by your creative attempt to completely avoid any semblance of truth. First, when I asked the front desk staff if you prescribed controlled substances to new patients thru telehealth, she responded "yes, but sometimes he will ask for paperwork." I was fully prepared to show proof but after my devastating appointment with Dr. Rabbani, I googled prescribing controlled substances thru telehealth to new patients and discovered that in the state of Alabama a physician is required to at least 1 face to face appointment prior to prescribing any controlled substances, so, im sure you are aware of this DEA regulation meaning your statement to me on the phone about just needing paperwork and your reply to about being able to prescribe to new patients unless it's deemed harmful is simply blatant lies. Next, as far as Dr. Rabbani providing me with a thorough treatment plan, we're just going to have to agree to disagree. I do not consider someone, desperately asking for help, and being prescribed an antihistamine as an anti-anxiety cure and then advised to go back to a doctor that I expressed my unhappiness with and lack of confidence in as treatment. Lastly, in reference to your "Controlled Substance Policy" I reread it to make sure, but nowhere in there, is there any mention of "patient evaluations" or "discontinuing if deemed harmful" or "new patients prescription protocols." I have included a copy of this form to prove either you don't know your own policies or your facility and all involved with it are completely incapable of telling the truth. I feel your clinic has nothing to do with patient care and is so corrupt that you feed on the sick and desperate for every dollar you can make, by any means necessary. Honestly, that makes you the sick and desperate! I hope that clarifies for you.

Late last year , I had a first time appointment with Dr Rabanni and he was extremely rude and was unsympathetic. By far the rudest psychiatrist I have ever seen. He was not friendly and made me feel like a bother when asking him questions. Instead , go see Dr Artie Nelson in Hoover. He’s a great psychiatrist and is very friendly.

This place is a joke. Husband is on FMLA. He Went last Friday and was told they would fill out his return to work paperwork no later then Tuesday. Tuesday arrives and they don’t have it, give us the runaround about “check you email” “check your spam folder” Wednesday they said we will receive it by end of day. Can’t even get them on the phone Thursday. Husband is there at 8am this morning when they open. He is told “we will email it by 12pm today” here it is 3pm and not only do we not have it, your phones have been off since noon and you closed early. Not quite sure if you’re just lazy or incompetent.

I wanted to tell my experience since being seen at this establishment. I recently found out that my therapist allowed for someone to 'listen in" on my appointment without my knowledge at the time, nor my consent. This person that they allowed is a disgruntled manager that I work with who some how was able to get in this therapist ear and was able to convince her to have her eavesdrop on my appointment. Im guessing that they may know each other. I literally had a fellow employee *rat* her out by telling me EVERYTHING that was discussed in my appointment that they wouldn't know otherwise. Safe to say the confidentiality is nonexistent at this place.

Was wanting to make an appointment but you have so MANY terrible reviews. Looks to me like y’all need to step up your game or close. You can’t expect to have people want to come there when they are already dealing with stuff and then have to deal with y’all too. Some people go into these professions to actually help people. Apparently this is not your goal.

I would like to share my experience and so far my experience is all been positive. The process was very simple to get started. I felt a lot of compassion, understanding and empathy from all staff. I’ll be honest I was very afraid to take that first step, but I did it the doctors I have spoken to Have been very Professional and very helpful. I’m just starting my process to getting my life back. The only regret I have is not doing this sooner.

I would love to give Dr. Whitt 5 stars if this rating was solely based on my appointment with her. However, I will not be having any future appointments with Dr. Rabbani.
