I have been coming here for a while now. Love this place and the staff. Hot showers and clean laundry make a person feel human again.
But I do have 2 issues... There are alot of junkies that come here and being an ex user of 20+ years and now 10+ years clean, I wish they would go to the drop in, downtown. Using is a choice. Not a mental disorder. Especially with people on the street.
My second issue is the parking. The county workers next door have the annoying habit of parking smaller cars in the spaces meant for bigger vehicles instead of using the "compact spaces". It's obviously for their personal convenience.
So every time I have to park in a small space my suv is usually door dinged. And nobody has ever taken responsibility and apologized.
That's the end of my rant.
All in all I would give wellness more stars if I could.

3 years I wanted a job! To work not starve to work and get food plucked to dig for water. I ate and saved from your trash. Imitation is not purchase nor purpose. Hell 21 counties do not have the patience for 21 Spanish books in 21 nations or 21 Arab books in 21 nations or 21 Muslim books in 21 nations FOR Public EDUCATION kill me with a Nazi squad lined up saying no video it brings me pleasure

Most of staff nice but some are unqualified ,extremely paranoid n toxic . Always peaceful, positive for over 1yr charging batteries n warming food, found myself accused of drug dealing! They've done this to others who came there to get away from drugs defeating purpose they're set up for. My accuser forced to admit he lied & had no evidence at all targeting me. It's such toxic staff members that make the experience worrisome n need to seek counciling, be accountable. (I'm 74yr old male who just got thru surviving another brutal California winter, last thing I needed was this hurtful, damaging excess baggage in my life
🙁

Today was my first time at the center. The staff (ran mainly by peers of the center) were very friendly. The center is spacious and clean. There are sectioned off areas from the main room for activities such as art, playing musical instruments, library. There are classes/groups to offer support/education on various emotional, behavioral, mental health issues as this is what the center specializes in. They offer showers, laundry, and lots of resources. I look forward to spending more time there.

They are nice people. Very informative. They let you shower and do your laundry and you can sign up for arts and crafts and karaoke. It's a nice place for the mentally challenged if they have nowhere to go

A place to go for mental health and peer support. This place is an important resource in our community. Many people thrive here and are encouraged to socialize, meet new friends, hang out with old ones and attend groups that are offered on a M-F basis. All of this is free to the members who come here and participate. I would recommend this place for sure to anyone with mental or social differences or families who want to help them.
