Emely and Tyler were so helpful in helping getting my dogs under control while walking and managing their anxiety. They helped me understand why my dogs were acting specific ways, and how to harness that energy. I have 2 corgis, aged 5 and 1, and doing anything with them was like herding cats. Now they loose-leash walk and stay on their place beds outside when asked. They are WAY less reactive to dogs and other stimuli when walking now. Best of all was how much my dogs adored and trusted them and got excited for the sessions. Totally recommend.

Went from having horrible anxiety taking our 8mo puppy mix on walks to it being the best part of our day. Drizzy was very reactive towards other dogs and people now hes able to walk pass with no aggression. I Cannot recommend JemzK9 enough. Taylor and Emily are so professional and knowledgeable with training . Big or small they know what they are doing . They genuinely care about you and your fur buddy . They hear your needs and. concerns and tackle all, they are also make sure you understand why and they explain everything clearly . Our dog Drizzy has made huge improvements and continues to improve . If your looking for a team to help your pup out they are it .

We took our Labrador, Rosie, to Tyler and Emely at JemzK9 after trying a few other trainers with no luck on her leash reactivity. They were the first to make a real breakthrough! Their hands-on approach is awesome—they actually show you how to handle your dog, not just tell you. Plus, they encourage practicing around other dogs safely, so it’s real-world training. Now, Rosie’s doing so much better and stays calm when other dogs pass by. Thanks, JemzK9!

Jemzk9 with Tyler and Emely transformed our 10 year old half husky from pulling on the leash and having anxiety/aggression when encountering other dogs to walking and running calmly by my side. He is like a different dog. It is now a joy to take him for a jog and not have to deal with him pulling. We just cruz along together like a team. Tyler and Emely don't just help train the dogs, but train us, the owners. I had tried other training through the years, but none of it really worked as well as Jemzk9. I wasn’t sure we could train or re-train an older dog, but with Jemzk9 we were able to teach an old dog new tricks.

JEMZ are quite simply 'the Dog Whisperers'. Working with our 2 intact male golden doodles 2-3 times each week, the dynamic duo of Emely and Tyler completely transformed our relationships with the dogs and clearly explained the important role that we as owners play in their training. There are not enough positive words to describe JemzK9 Training (Tyler and Emely). My husband and I rescued a 2 year old bully breed dog in February, and while she is amazing, she also has some unpredictable dog reactivity/aggression during some of our walks--and she is strong. My first contact with Tyler was the initial phone call. He spent almost an hour with me talking about my dog's issues and describing the kind of work we could do together to help her. He works exclusively with his partner Emely and they are both kind, knowledgeable regarding dog psychology and behavior, and very patient with my learning curve. One aspect of the training that has been wonderful is that we don't just meet in one place--we meet all over (parks, walking in the streets, etc.) in order to increase the generalizability of the training. In fact, they spent a whole session in my house working on excitability (barking and running to the door) when someone knocks, despite knowing to stay in her place bed. She is soooo much better already. I have to also say that we have an older dog who also barks and they spent time helping us with her as well--even though she isn't their "client". After each session, they send a summary of the lesson, their observations of my dog and MY behavior, and ways I could improve. I also text them with questions (sometimes a LOT 🙂 and they always respond in detail. This has been incredibly helpful with my confidence and abilities as a responsible dog owner. Again, I highly recommend them! Oh, and my dogs love them and it has only been three weeks.

My dog Addi & I have had the pleasure of working with Emmalee & Tyler over the past several months and they have provided us with an amazing amount of information, education, training and methods to improve overall behavior to make for a happier family.
Emmalee & Tyler are hands on and we, like others have trained in the community; at home, downtown, parks, etc so Addi was exposed & learned how to behave in a variety of settings with a variety of people while gaining skills in neutrality.
Addi adores both Tyler & Emmalee and I look forward to continuing to work with them as Addi grows through her many stages & I learn & practice skill and technique development.
