My caseworker never has contacted me, they said they paid my back rent owed and it ended up not being true. Then they said I hadn't paid my rent for the last 4 months which was a total lie and I even have documentation to prove it!

If workers from this office come, and you are the owner of a mobile home, then after their visit the police will come. They need human traffic to receive grants, that is, money, and put it in their pockets. There is no real help from them

they wont help with housing, they dont do counseling.

they say there is no housing in the area and offer to send you to a homeless shelter. they're not sincerely friendly.

they're funded as SSVF for rapid rehousing in santa maria but they dont have housing options except one house in santa maria which the landlord sits on the board of new beginnings. the caseworkers for new beginnings arent helpful and lie to the VA to hurt your case. Jamie Naylor cannot be trusted

As a veteran who was facing homelessness and was referred to them by the VA Dept, they didn't seem to care or have any way to help me and my family as we were facing homelessness. I found this out after WEEKS of calling, they NEVER answer the phone or return voicemails. If you're a veteran needing help with homelessness, steer clear of this place because it's a waste of your time. God only knows where the money they receive in donations and the government to help homeless veterans goes to. Probably lining their pockets while they tell people, sorry we can't help you...

Non-professional, confidentiality in question and rather rude. After I explained my problems they were used to backhandedly deny me service. I also am under the impression that they have a BLACK LIST that is shared with certain counseling centers in town.

What I find disappointing is you cant talk to anyone. Every call goes to voice mail and calls go unanswered. I was refered by someone who had great luck with them. I did not recieve any response good or bad. I would not call them again.
