Dr Holli Stewart is very intelligent and is able to navigate complex issues within a family dynamic. She is especially good at helping adolescents navigate relationships with adults. At first I wondered where she was going with all of her talking about herself. In the end, it all fit together and made sense. Yes she is often late with her appointments. It helps if you set a timer. She currently does both walk-in and remote counseling depending on need. She seems especially adept at getting children to open up to her and communicating the child's needs. I have also seen her help to navigate clients through gender and sexual identity. I do not believe you will be disappointed if you hang in there. She is worth the extra wait.

Dr Steward as a psychologist has been amazing. It started with my son who had severe health issues. His previous therapist gave up he was so bad. Holli knows her stuff and is remarkable with children. He has made incredible progress with her. She helped us realize how unhealthy severe chronic illness is on the entire family, not just the sick individual. The entire family sees her now and everyone has seen improvement and is happier. To say she has been an enormous help to my family is an understatement.
There is some truth that she isn't great sticking to the schedule. A big part of this is if someone needs time, she gives it. She has also hired additional help which is helped the organization of her business. She is a perfect therapist if you have some flexibility on session time.

Do not and I mean DO NOT GO HERE! Holli at first seemed like the right pick shes super open, fun, nothing out of the ordinary. The longer I stayed the more I realized how out of it she is. Everytime I would go she would spend hours and I mean HOURS with another patient. Then when I get in she would never take notes and that would mean when I would come back she would NEVER remember anything. During the duration of the session she would never let me talk and always tell me a 30 minute story of how she relates and by the time I wanted to talk about something my session would be over. And since she never took notes she would bring up the same issues. Another issue was that she said she took my insurance and never went to do the paperwork making me pay out of pocket. She promised that she would get it done but never did. This issue also happened with a friend of mine who was promised the exact same thing to the point where his mom has made several calls. Also in person I have witnessed parents mad at the amount of time Holli would take and call her out on it. In my experience she would go in after these incedents would happen and say "These parents need to learn patience" and try to justify the situation. When you step into her office you can clearly see the office is in boxes and unorganized (at least when I was attending). She has several receptionists that would take care of the paperwork and organization but she has had to fire due to some odd reason. One of the receptionists she hired came in intoxicated and sued her because she didn't pay him. The other receptionist faked her credentials and made things worse. She had a huge breakdown in front of Holli and cried about how she's a bad boss that doesn't teach her anything. In my experience Holli is unorganized, uninterested, and simply not a good therapist. She makes empty promises and makes you jump through hoops just to get the care you need. Don't let her personality fool you. Save yourself the time and money, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
