I can only speak praises of Erin and her team at Imtimate Journey Birth Center. As a first time mom, I had so many questions and concerns regarding pregnancy and birth and Erin always made me feel at ease. Her comforting presence and knowledge is so reassuring and I've never felt so cared for in somewhat of a medical setting. My pregnancy and birth were such a dream and honestly it's all thanks to Erin. I can't wait for my next pregnancy so I can come back here and have this experience again!! I had the pleasure of working for Erin at the birth center AND having her team support me through my first pregnancy. Erin Ashley and her team (Lisa, Maria, and Holly) were the most wonderful and supportive birth team I could have asked for. I genuinely looked forward to prenatal appointments, where it felt like spending time with loving friends who absolutely love what they do. The birth center is organized and stocked with all medications and equipment necessary for a low-intervention birth, and the team has vast knowledge on what to do when complications arise.
I chose to labor at my home, however my labor was incredibly long so I opted to deliver at the hospital. Erin was present through the transfer and hospital experience. After my delivery, the team drained and packed the birth tub, loaded dirty laundry into my washing machine, and put my living room back together before we arrived home with our daughter. It was a blessing arriving to an orderly home. I love these women and would recommend Intimate Journey to anyone seeking a more personal pregnancy and birthing experience.

Absolutely love Erin and her staff at Intimate journey she made me feel so safe and comfortable to have my first child. I could not have asked for a better birthing experience she truly was amazing keeping me informed on how I was progressing and encouraging me along the way. 10/10 highly recommend the birthing tub she has ♡

Erin and her team were absolutely amazing. She was extremely caring, nurturing, and attentive through out my whole pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum. Our decision to stray away from a hospital birth came from my husband and I getting horrible prenatal care at CHC. As soon as we met with Erin we absolutely knew we were meant to be there. Erin and her student midwives listened to any concerns we had and answered all our questions thoroughly, which as a first time mom planning for an unmediated natural birth, I had many. We highly recommend anyone who is considering the birthing center or a home birth to commit with Erin and you’ll have no regrets.

We loved our experience with Intimate Journey! From prenatal care through birth and postpartum care Erin supported us every step of the way. At appointments she was very thorough and took the time to answer our questions and make us feel confident and prepared to bring our first child into the world. My husband and I had our first baby with Erin and we loved being under her care! We felt so supported, safe and taking care of in the whole journey of pregnancy! Erin provided an excellent care for me and my baby during the birth and helped me birth my first baby naturally!

Erin and her team were amazing and I’m grateful to have had them be part of my pregnancy. Josie who is up front helped with my older kiddos so I was able to focus on my appts. When she wasn’t there the toys always made their day. I love the fact that with Erin or any midwife I’m not shamed for being a mom and having my kids with me at my appts. I felt so at ease at the birth center. All my concerns and questions were answered by the end of the appt. I loved that I was able to be playful with everyone. I’m beyond grateful to have found Erin and have her as my midwife. 10/10 recommend and will go back when it’s time for another baby.
Although I initially wanted a home birth I have no regrets about how I labored and that I had baby at the birth center.

From the first time I met Erin, I felt safe and supported and looked forward to every appointment with her. She is kind and compassionate and offers words of wisdom and guidance.

I never once had a doubt in my mind that I was going to have the best birth experience while in Erin’s care. She helped me through some mild pregnancy complications and made it possible for me to have an out of hospital birth.
