I could not say enough good things about Shorme,
Daniel, and the rest of SCPK! We had some challenges to work out behaviorally with our son and Shorme and Daniel were so incredibly great with him: patient, fun, firm, and kind. They seem to “get” each kid and their unique personality and push them to develop into wonderful human beings and amazing athletes. The teams’ athleticism is impressive and it is just a fun place for kids to go! I’m happy to report that we’re through that difficult chapter in our lives…I’m sure we owed thanks to SCPK for the part they played with my son. Highly, highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Coach Shorme's Parkour gym, and I must say, it's an absolute gem for anyone interested in the sport. My grandson is not only a devoted parkour athlete but also benefits from Coach Shorme's expertise as his coach. The experience at the gym was nothing short of fantastic. The atmosphere of the gym is undeniably cool and welcoming. The energy is infectious, and it's evident that Coach Shorme has created a space where passion for parkour thrives. We love Santa Cruz Parkour. Our 9YO son has been going for the past few years. We’ve also encourages six other friends to sign up and they love it too! Our son loves climbing trees and setting up physical challenges for himself. He has great upper body strength. Santa Cruz Parkour helps to work on his physical skills and strength as well as challenges him to push himself just a little bit further with each session. My son says that he likes “everything” about it.

We love Santa Cruz Parkour!! It has been such a positive place for our son. He LOVES the weekly classes as well as the summer camps! My two other kids have done the camps too and have had the best experiences. I am so impressed with the dedication Shorme and Daniel show to the kids and the sport. We have been with Santa Cruz Parkour since they first went into business. My daughters started in mini ninjas and my oldest is now in Parkour level 1 having worked her way through mini ninjas and parkour fundamentals. We’ve participated in several summer camps and now my son gets to join the fun of mini ninjas. The teachers are exceptional with children, fun and playful but also just strict enough to not tolerate any sort of inappropriateness or misbehaving! My children have playful fun, get exercise, build strength, dexterity and confidence all in one place. They absolutely love and respect the teachers and they’ve received little certificates and awards as they graduate each level, which really helps them feel accomplished and recognize their hard work and how much they’ve learned. This program has been like an extended family and has been a huge blessing in our families lives!

Santa Cruz Parkour is the best school for parkour in Santa Cruz. I can’t say enough. My daughter is 4 years old and attends the Mini Ninja class. It was her first extra-curricular activity she attended and from the first class jumped in full speed. The staff immediately made her feel comfortable and safe to explore new body movement and activities. They teach technique and foundational skills through play and she is learning the foundational skills necessary to explore this discipline at a rate that SHE is ready for. I like how they individualize the lesson and allow room for the student to explore and grow as they are ready and feel comfortable.

Thank you, Shorme, for creating a place for my child to explore body movement, have fun, and build self-confidence, skills, and technique in this awesome art form.
