My 2 year old labrador retriever and I have been taking scent work classes with Laura for over a year. Laura puts a lot of work into setting up searches with a variety of difficulty levels. She is encouraging and patient, and I have learned so much from her. My pup and I have just started to participate in AKC scent work trials, and we've earned a couple of placement ribbons and an element title.

There are few places to train in scent work, so I am grateful to have had this training opportunity. Classes are very affordable, and the club officers are responsive and accommodating.

I've taken 2 of my dogs to SCDT. They have 2 locations- Winter months at the Santa Clara Fairgrounds and the Summer/warmer months at the SVCTE off Hillsdale. I've taken a few of the Ring Ready classes. I love all of them. Rally being one of my favorites. They also have drop-in classes for Conformation. I received our CGC (canine good citizen) title through them. I highly recommend SCDT.

We have been training with SCDTC for a year now and have enjoyed all the classes. The trainers are all very friendly and knowledgeable with a wide range of classes for every skill level and interest. We have learned so much and the price cannot be beat!
