BBD has been such a special part of our two kids' lives for the last 7 years. Belma and her team are so loving, caring, and really spend time thinking of stimulating and fun activities and toys to engage our kids every day. Everything here is intentional. You can really tell that they think about making such an engaging environment .

We've moved away from BBD 6 years ago but still went out of our way to take our youngest to BBD just because there is no other place in the Bay Area that we would take our children to in their formidable years. Its more than just a daycare. Belma builds a community. They plan such fun activities and field trips with the kids and with the families that are part of the community. We can't recommend this place enough!

Building Blocks Daycare is by far the best daycare service in the Bay Area. We have 4 kids and have seen our fair share of daycares and pre-schools. BBD fosters an incredibly fun and engaging environment for kids of all ages (as you can see from all the great pictures!). The kids get to play outside and engage in all kinds of creative sensory games and activities.

We love the environment Belma and the teachers provide. Our kids love attending BBD and are often sad on the weekends when they have to stay home! Belma is also great at keeping parents informed with daily text updates and pictures.

We love BBD and are lucky we found it and get to be a part of the community!

Building Blocks Daycare is excellent and highly recommended. The owner Belma is a hands-on and super caring person who genuinely loves the children and takes care of them. Our 4-year old daughter has been with the daycare for a little under a year and just loves being there and loves Belma.

Belma has created a safe and nurturing environment where our daughter is engaged everyday. She takes a thoughtful approach in everything things she does and provides a wide variety of
with activities that help her grow and develop in all areas from her sensory skills to motor skills.

The facilities are well organized and clean at all times, the equipment and toys are in good condition, and supplies used in activities are high quality. The group size is also just right with enough children to play with each other, but not so many that children don't get enough attention from Belma and the other teachers.

Belma also provides us with a daily update including photos so it's really nice to be able to see what's going on with the kids. She arranges outings and other activities, even for the parents, so she cares about the entire family.

I have so many positive things to say and could keep going on, There is no question I would highly recommend BBD to any parent looking for a daycare for their child.

Building Blocks Daycare is a fantastic place for infants and toddlers. Belma (the owner) is a very loving, experienced and passionate childcare provider. The home based daycare is the right size (12 kids max), well staffed with teachers who are personally involved in the care of your child. The kids have a great time learning through play. They enjoy an outing every Friday. They are engage in a variety of activities like dancing, singing, sensory games, painting, water play, cars, and bikes. All the kids are always happy. Our son joined as an infant and is now a toddler. He is always eager to go and reluctant to leave. We are very happy and have a referred some of our friends whose kids have also joined Building Blocks.

Our daughter started at BBD in January this year when she was about to turn 18 months old. I enrolled her at BBD based on great references from my friend's kid who is also enrolled here.

Cannot express in words how glad we are that we chose BBD! Our daughter is thriving and how! We are in LOVE with this place. Belma and her staff are so loving and caring. BBD has a structured routine everyday and has different kinds of fun and cool play based activities for kids of every age group. Lot of outdoor fun. Belma knows how best to keep all the kids engaged and is very organized about how the daycare should function due to her many years of professional experience. She changes up activities for every kid depending on how they are progressing. I have only seen happy faces at drop off and pick up. Belma and her staff also ensure that kids bond with one another and also works on improving their social skills (for ex. teaching them to be gentle, working on different emotions etc.). This has been a huge plus for our daughter. She happily names everyone at her daycare and they even hug each other. They dance, sing, read books etc. apart from the usual activities. Friday is also park day which is wonderful as all kids go to this nearby park and enjoy the play structures there. Our LO has become so confident and has picked up so many new skills. All credit goes to Belma and her wonderful staff.

In addition, Belma treats us parents also like her family. She will spend a good few mins at pick up time discussing how the day went. She welcomes all the questions parents might have and will promptly answer them without any hesitation. She would promptly send interesting updates every single day without fail with pictures and sometimes videos. We have never felt even once that we have missed out on how our daughter did on a particular day due to the amazing updates we get each day. Any parent would feel reassured about their LO with such updates.

The best daycare for your kid you would ever find! My some has been attending BBD for 3 years and we absolutely loved everything about BBD! Belma, the owner and the teacher is the most caring and passionate teacher for young kids! She has a great set-up for kids, she invest a lot into high-quality materials and activities, and adopts best practices from the early childhood development programs. It’s play-based, but she and her team of teachers skillfully blend educational and sensory activities into the program.
Belma and her teachers are very knowledgeable and most caring, you can be 100% sure your kid will be happy at Building Blocks Daycare (BBD)!

Building Block daycare is a perfect place for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Recently I got the chance to be in Building Block daycare for doing my teaching practicum and Belma (owner) was my mentor. She is an amazing person and teacher.She really loves and cares for each and every child in her daycare.She is highly experienced and her philosophy is play based.Belma and other teachers provide developmentally appropriate activities for each child and acknowledge each child's achievement. Belma has a huge collection of learning materials, toys and supplies which she uses in fantastic way to provide different learning experiences to the children.
