I used to be a client here, but I left due to the numerous changes and inconsistencies. I worked with an LMFT for a few months, but they quit. Then, I was assigned to a new LMFT, but I wasn't satisfied with their approach. I requested to transfer to another LMFT, but they left the company, making the process inconvenient.

I had another disappointing experience with Jan. I emailed her about logging in to my education support for college, and I mistakenly continued to reach out to her about it. Instead of addressing the issue or communicating with me directly, Jan screenshot my email without my consent, tagged my therapist, and complained to my mom. She implied that I was wasting her time and charged my mom extra for the incident.

To make matters worse, my mom started getting mad at me, making me feel like it was my fault. However, I didn't know any better, and I think a better approach would have been for Jan to communicate with me directly and honestly about her concerns. Instead, she embarrassed me and involved my mom unnecessarily.

This experience has left a lasting impression on me, and I hope that in the future, the organization will prioritize open communication, confidentiality, and respect for their clients.
